How to cancel Wix premium plan

You have the flexibility to cancel your Premium plan at any time. Should you choose to cancel after the 14-day trial period, automatic renewal will be disabled, and the plan will remain active until its expiration date. Even after cancellation, you retain the option to reinstate auto-renewal before the expiration date.

For details regarding payment dates, refer to your Billing History page. Additionally, you can view the expiration date from your Premium Subscriptions page.

Please take note of the following:

• If you cancel your plan, your site will remain accessible online. To remove it from public view, you must either unpublish the site or hide it from search results.
• If you have purchased other services through Wix (such as a domain or business email) and wish to discontinue them, you must separately deactivate the auto-renewal for these services.
• Unassigning a plan from your site does not equate to canceling it.

Canceling your Premium plan

Prior to proceeding, review the important information outlined below.

• Free site status: Upon cancellation of your Premium plan, it will remain active until the end of the subscription period. Subsequently, your site address will revert to the free Wix URL (accountname.wixsite.com/siteaddress), accompanied by Wix ads on your site.
• Renewal date: To ensure continuous site functionality, your Premium plan is set to renew up to 14 days before the original purchase date. Canceling your plan deactivates this auto-renewal feature.
• Trial period: Premium plans include a 14-day trial period when paying by credit card. If cancellation occurs within this period, the trial is terminated immediately, and a full refund is issued within the following 20 business days. Note: To retain plan benefits until the end of the subscription period (i.e., disable auto-renewal), cancellation should be deferred until after the initial 14 days.
• Other subscriptions: Canceling your Premium plan does not affect any domain, mailbox, or app subscriptions associated with your Wix account. These must be canceled separately.
• Deleting a site: Cancellation of a Premium plan does not delete the assigned site. If site deletion is desired, first cancel (or unassign) the plan, then proceed with the site deletion steps provided.

To cancel your Premium plan:

1. Navigate to "Subscriptions" in your Wix account.
2. Click on the "Show More" icon adjacent to the relevant plan.
3. Select "Cancel Plan."
4. Confirm the cancellation by clicking "Cancel Now" in the pop-up window. Note: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the subscription period rather than immediately.
